Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Emerald Brigade. We often think of the friends that the students make, but there is also something special about working alongside another adult. The bonds made as we volunteer together can last long after our child has graduated out of the program. 

Sabrina said it best.

Sabrina's son has graduated out of the program, but she continues to serve. Here is what she had to say:

"I really do appreciate still being able to be a part of such a great organization. Band really made a difference in Kendall’s life and mine. 

I’ve met some pretty amazing people that at one point since I’ve moved here I never thought I’d ever meet and are becoming lifelong friends."

How do I become an approved volunteer?

For the safety of the students, all volunteers must fill out an application with the School Board and go through a background check. The cost for this is $25.Use the link below to visit the School Board's volunteer page and complete the online application.

How do I know when and where I'm needed?

When you are added to our database, you will receive an email inviting you to complete your registration and to download the BoosterHub app. Once you have completed your registration and your volunteer application has been approved by the School Board, you can start signing up for volunteer opportunities.

Follow the directions below to sign up.

From the website:

1. Click on the Calendar link near the top of the page.
2. Click on the event you would like to volunteer for.
3. Click on the "VIEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES" button.
4. Select the position you'd like to volunteer for.
5. Click the "VOLUNTEER" button.
6. Enter your name, email, and phone number.
7. Click SAVE.
8. Join us and have fun.

From the app:

1. Click on the "VOLUNTEER" BUTTON
2. Scroll through the Volunteer Opportunities at the bottom of the page.
3. Click the "Volunteer" button for the event you want to help with. 
4. Join us and have fun.
